About Us.
Pia AmundsenFrom Novux Rabbitry.
My name is Pia (obvious), and I am 22 years old. I was born and live in Larvik, located in Vestfold, Norway. I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, but it's the dog that has my heart. I've been training and competing with dogs for about 11 years, and got my first dog when I was 11. He is still by my side, being 10 yeras old, but young by heart! Thanks to him I couldn't imagine a life without dogs! Summer 2014 I've got my second, a German Shepherd female from working lines. I also have dreams to breed dogs too.
Even though it's dogs that are my main priority, I do enjoying working with rabbits too. I've got my first one in 2008, but with not so much information and and a non-supportive mother, we gave her away sadly some around in 2009. I've started again in early 2012, not quite planned, but after that, it just took off completely since I had moved out. Later in 2012 me and my best-friend Marita started our rabbitry together, but now there' only me, working with rabbits for jumping. I enjoy competing in rabbit jumping, showing and also to breed towards the goal I mean is a healthy, good-working rabbit. There are many challenges, but that's what fun about it! In 2013 I was the leader for my local rabbit jumping association, and are to date an authorized A-Judge in Rabbit Jumping. Otherwise, I have a lot of interests and hobbies. I love to draw, bead and build things. I fight for the Norwegian predators, love the wilderness, are educated agronomist and love to get my hands dirty. Photography is also my #2 hobby after animals so I put a lot time and energy in that too. I am member of (both rabbit related and non): - Norwegian Rabbit Breeding Association (NKF) - Norwegian Rabbit Jumping Association (NKHF) - Norwegian Kennel Club (NKK) - Tønsberg Dog Club (THK) Fun fact: I was supposed to be named Anna. |

When I became an adult and moved to myself, I got several rabbits. And only where I found others with the same interest as me, I became a member of my local union rabbit and started with compete, which I have driven with active since. I moved to Norway stopped me not to have rabbits, my interest has only grown larger. I am a member in Tønsberg Jump Group (TBHG) and NKHF. I am also authorized C-Judge

Fluffy is dog number two, she is a little Chihuahua bitch at 3 years and the color chokolate zobel, she is queen og the house and a proper diva. smallest man Woodo is only 7 months and the Australian Shepherd he is by the color blue merle and blue and one brown eye which makes him completely speciel, he is energetic and willing to work and not least super charming. In 2015 I started to go on show with Fluffy and Woodo something that I think is fun and not least good training for my dogs.
